A1 Licence

For those aged 17+ or those that simply don't want to ride anything bigger than a 125cc but just want to remove your L plates and carry pillions the A1 licence is for you.

You must complete a CBT, motorcycle theory test and take both Module 1 and Module 2 practical tests using a 125cc machine.

Please Note:

Once an A1 Licence has been gained, riders should be aware that the motorcycle restrictions are no longer removed after 2 years, unless you progress onto a higher category licence i.e. A2 or Direct Access, in which case you will need to take a motorcycle theory test before booking your A2 or Direct Access course...
